The advantages of buying in laminated material over solid sections are not only the stability of the products but also the advantages that come from buying a finished article.
The components have already been graded for quality, and defects removed. There are no splits or shakes to contend with, and twisting and cupping are eliminated. Time saved planning, and sanding solid material also helps to make this cost-effective.
Pine Newel Posts are engineered 2 pcs solid, glued along the length. Available in various length specifications
Laminated Newel Posts and Stringers are used in conjunction with the Bullnosed treads, to supply solid timber staircases.
Bullnosed Treads also double up as a very attractive window board material.
Grade – A/B grade, High Joinery Quality, laminated using 45mm lamellas, edge-glued, KD 8-10%, sanded to 120 grit. All kinds of healthy knots, limited pith, no black knots or fallen knots allowed.
