Documentation verifying legality (e.g., harvest permits, invoices, transport documents)

We assess:

Country-specific risk (corruption, illegal logging risk, governance)
Supplier reliability
Species risk
Supply chain complexity

3. Risk Mitigation

If a product is deemed higher risk, we take additional steps, such as:

Requesting further documentation
Insisting on third-party certification
Not purchasing until risks are fully resolved

Ongoing Monitoring

We review suppliers regularly and update our assessments to ensure continuous compliance with UKTR. We will not trade with suppliers who fail to meet UKTR standards or who cannot demonstrate legal sourcing.
